Chloe Leung – Instructor

Chloe began dancing at the age of four at the Lorita Leung Dance Academy. She was a member of the Little Panda Children’s Performing Group and, in 2015, joined the Lorita Leung Dance Company. Throughout her dance journey, Chloe has performed across Canada, the Lower Mainland, and internationally, including appearances at Disney World and the University of Idaho.

She has also performed at events in Vancouver and St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador alongside award-winning, five-time Juno Award nominee singer-songwriter Ginalina, and has appeared with the Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble at various events. Notably, she was featured in The Last Dance by the renowned Naadaleela Ensemble. In 2025, Chloe received the Elite Platinum Award, Highest Overall in Age/Level Group Award, and a scholarship at the prestigious TaoLi World Dance Competition in Vancouver for her solo performance, Reflections on Lama Lake.

Chloe graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science (BSc), majoring in Food, Nutrition and Health (Honours), with a minor in Commerce. Her passion for dance has led her to pursue teaching, where she is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. Chloe achieved Level 13 of the Chinese Dance Graded Examination Syllabus with perfect scores. Since receiving her teaching certification in 2017, she has focused on training younger dancers at LLDA. She is a certified instructor of the Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination Syllabus, and in 2022, also became certified in the Graded Examination in Chinese Ethnic Folk Dance. In 2024, she obtained certification to teach the Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Xin Yue Wu program.

Chloe brings her extensive experience and deep understanding of Chinese dance to inspire her students, creating meaningful and lasting experiences in their dance journey.
