Grace Chen – Instructor

Grace Chen graduated from the Shanghai Dance School in 1998, where she specialized in Chinese Folk Dance. Upon graduation, she joined the Shanghai Song and Dance Troupe, where she performed as a principal dancer for five years. During this time, she performed leading roles in notable dance dramas, including the Queen Mother in Golden Dance and Silver Clothes and Wang Zhaojun in Four Beauties. She also performed acclaimed solo works such as The Dancing Peacock and Moon Reflected in the Pond.

With the Shanghai Song and Dance Troupe, Grace toured internationally and performed at numerous high-profile events. A highlight of her performing career was in 2000, when she appeared in Golden Dance and Silver Clothes in Paris in support of Shanghai’s successful bid to host the 2010 World Exposition.

In parallel with her professional career outside of dance, Grace has achieved significant academic and business accomplishments. In 2013, she earned a dual-degree Executive MBA in Asset and Wealth Management from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States and the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. In 2014, she founded her own firm, Grace Wealth & Asset Management.

Grace continues to pursue her passion for Chinese dance as an instructor at the Lorita Leung Dance Academy, where she shares her knowledge, experience, and artistry with students of all ages.
