Scarlett Zhu – Rehearsal Director, Lorita Leung Dance Company

Scarlett began dancing at the age of eight, quickly developing a deep passion for the art. After immigrating to Canada in 2008, she continued her training at the Lorita Leung Dance Academy at age 12. In 2012, she joined the Lorita Leung Dance Company, where she further honed her skills and gained valuable performance experience. Over the years, Scarlett has performed and competed with the Company across Canada and internationally, appearing on a wide range of stages. In 2017, she reached a significant milestone by completing Level 13 of the Beijing Dance Academy Chinese Dance Graded Examination Syllabus, demonstrating both technical excellence and artistic maturity. In the same year, she also completed the CDGES Levels 1 to 5 Teacher Training program.

Scarlett currently serves as the Rehearsal Director of the Lorita Leung Dance Company, working closely with Artistic Director Jessica Jone to rehearse and refine the Company’s repertoire.
